The leaves are changing colors. Our Pumpkin Spice Latte has returned. Halloween is upon us. And, in the interest of getting in the spirit, we here at the Coffee Hound would like to introduce what we hope will become a fun annual tradition for years to come: the Halloween Hound Costume Contest!

For the rest of the month we invite all of you, our loyal fans, old and new, to find something about Coffee Hound that you love, and turn it into an awesome Halloween costume. It can be a favorite drink or barista, our logo, our owners, April and Steve, or practically anything about coffee or coffee culture that inspires you. Remember, extra points for creativity, originality, and humor!

Then, once the costume’s ready, put it on, take a picture, and post it to our Facebook page or to Twitter or Instagram with the hashtag #2014CoffeeHoundCostume by 11:59PM October 31. After that, be sure to check back Monday November 3 and see if you were declared our 2014 Halloween Hound and the winner of one of our great new Coffee Hound t-shirts and mugs.

Now, with that, let the costume contest begin, and let’s see who will become our 2014 Halloween Hound.
