Recently we participated in a coffee exchange with some of the top producers of coffee in Brazil. Our friends at Cafe Imports put together a way of bridging the gap between producers and roasters, by sending some coffee back to the farmers. It was really a way for us to say thank you for the work that goes into great coffee, and a way for the producers to taste their own product. This turned out to be a total success in that the producers were overwhelmed with pride, excitement, and camaraderie over the event. These kinds of projects really bring the connection of roaster and producer even closer, opening more dialogue and communication. A big thanks to Cafe Imports and the producers at Carmo Coffees. Together we all make a difference.
