This month for the DBA’s F1rst Fr1day event, The Music and Visual Arts Downtown Bloomington Arts Showcase, we will be featuring the artwork of local artist, Roger Harris.
Friday, May 6th (5:00pm-8:00pm) and Saturday, May 7th (9:00am-2:00pm) Harris will be exhibiting his work at our Bloomington location. Among his works will be seven or eight pieces using charcoal, watercolors, or gouache. Among the more notable works on display will be one intended to depict the experience of chronic pain or disease, as well as a pair of portraits of the same person, not as they are, but as they perceive themselves in the present and desire themselves to be in the future.
